Highly Fermentable Fiber Alters Fecal Microbiota and Mitigates Swine Dysentery Induced by Brachyspira hyodysenteriae

MSP[RS] Resistant Starch mitigates swine dysentery induced by Brachyspira hyodysenteriae in a challenge trial. Animals fed MSP[RS] Resistant Starch had nearly complete protection from swine dysentery when challenged with Brachyspira hyodysenteriae, and maintained good growth rates and feed efficiency.
