A review on resistant starch that outlines the mechanisms through which resistant starch works, with particular reference to raw potato starch.  “RS as a prebiotic can enhance gut health of weaned pigs, thereby reducing the incidence of PWD.” Resistant Starch is an effective prebiotic that reduces PWD and subsequently reduces mortalities from PWD.
